Maloka

HISTORY:
The 4 of december of 1998 after 18 months of construction, Maloka opens his doors turning into the first Interactive Center of Science and Technology of Colombia and into a cultural and educational, conceptualized megaproject designed and produced in the country for Colombians, him demonstrating to the entire world that in Colombia if it is possible and that the goals and dreams for more Utopian that they seem can make real. It was constituted as a non-profit-making corporation that is autosupported from the first year and generates resources for reinvestment, thanks to the contributions of his visitors, and to the permanent management of his
equipment of work, in spite of the fact that the study of feasibility was raising that the interactive Center would be autosustainable only until the fifth year of operation. A reality that makes dream all his visitors, offering them spaces with interactive exhibitions, besides different and new educational activities on science and technology, recreative and cultural, being positioned as a growth point.
MISSION:
To contribute to the social appropriation of the science, the technology and the innovation, generating passion for the learning and the knowledge, critical and proactive spirit and arouses on his transcendency and I affect the daily life and the social, economic and cultural development of the Colombians.

VISION:
In 2011, the Corporation Maloka reaches significantly to the enrichment of the Colombian culture, across the generation and the appropriation of the knowledge and of the innovation. It is an organization of excellence, based on beginning and values, recognized in the national and international area, with a financial solid structure and a human highly qualified and passionate equipment.
VIEW: Maloka is a great place that all people must visit because is a good place for learning and also for having fun with your family, it is a cool museum where yo can learn many things and it is a good place specially for kids because they can learn by playing an enjoing a really good time.
